Geminate is an iOS keyboard that translates the text you type into another language. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: Geminate has no servers and collects no analytics. The developer never receives, stores, or sees your text.
Geminate offers two engines, which you choose in the app:
If you use the Google Gemini engine, your API key is entered by you in the app and stored securely in the device Keychain. It is never transmitted anywhere except directly to Google's API as the authorization header for your own translation requests. It is not shared with the developer or any third party.
The keyboard requests "Allow Full Access" only so the cloud (Gemini) engine can make network requests. Normal typing and the on-device translation engine work without Full Access. Geminate does not log keystrokes, does not build a profile, and does not transmit what you type for any purpose other than fulfilling a translation you explicitly request with the cloud engine.
None. Geminate contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no tracking, and no developer-operated backend. We do not collect personal data, usage data, or your typed content.
Geminate is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
